Hello and welcome to my ePortfolio! My name is Emma Kivari and this class was very helpful in learning about my Canadian past. Most of my previous experiences with history involve my trying to stay awake while a monotone teacher talked about kings and treaties. Luckily that did not happen this time around as I found the content very engaging, especially in the weekly readings on smaller topics that many Canadians are probably unaware about. Each week felt like something different and the projects and assignments helped me to improve my historical writing techniques.
Throughout this site you will find various coursework that aided in my learning on pre-confederate Canada. I even included a fun concept map that covers the key aspects discussed in class and in text.
